Diamond Lil Does the Rio Dulce

The Rio Dulce is a beautiful river that flows through Guatemala. It is a popular destination for boaters, fishermen, and birdwatchers. The river is also home to a number of Mayan ruins.

We recently had the opportunity to cruise the Rio Dulce on our boat, Diamond Lil. We started our journey in the town of Livingston, which is located at the mouth of the river. We then traveled up the river, stopping at a number of different places along the way.

One of our favorite stops was at the town of El Relleno. This town is home to a number of Mayan ruins. We visited the ruins of a temple and a ball court. We also saw a number of petroglyphs.

Another highlight of our trip was a visit to the hot springs at Finca El Paraiso. These hot springs are located in a beautiful setting, and they are a great place to relax and soak in the mineral-rich waters.

We also enjoyed fishing for snook in the Rio Dulce. Snook is a type of fish that is found in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. We caught a number of snook, and we had them for dinner one night.

We spent a total of five days cruising the Rio Dulce. We had a wonderful time, and we would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and adventurous vacation.
